Performance Art in Art Education? Research in Art Education?
Contact me for a course that fits the needs of your students.
Since 2008, I have taught at several universities in Germany within teacher training programs in Art Education, and from 2012–2017 I worked as a research associate in Art / Art Education at the University of Osnabrück.
As a substitute professor for the W1 Professorship in Gender and Inclusion Studies and the W2 Professorship in Art Education at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin) from 2021–2024, I was able to further deepen my expertise in art education teaching and research.
My seminars address both BA and MA levels. My main areas of focus are an in-depth engagement with Performance Art and its mediation in various educational contexts, as well as qualitative empirical research.
If you are interested, feel free to take a look at my dissertation dissertation Creating Spaces ('Räume schaffen'), published by kopaed in 2020 as the first qualitative-empirical study on the teaching and mediation of Performance Art.
